Announcing a New Group to meet at Sew Always

Nancy Glaspie will be starting a Free Motion Quilting Club that will meet at 10:00 am on the 3rd Tuesday of each month, beginning on September 17th.  It's free to all who wish to join! Each month the  group will discuss tips and different quilting patterns.  After the discussion time, you can practice the different designs on a quilt sandwich.

Please call Sew Always at (903) 784-6342 to let us know if you are interested in attending the first session, we would like to know how many to expect.

Farm Block Contest Workshop Monday, January 6th .  Nancy Glaspie will be here from 10 am to 4 pm to help with any question you have with  completing your block.  There is no charge so come with your project and questions!

Rag T-shirt Quilt Class Friday, January 10th from 10 am to 3 pm.  Come and learn a technique that Connie says is twice as fast and half the cost of traditional t-shirt quilts.

Stripping for Beginners Class  1st Wednesday of the month starting February 5 thru September 2nd.  Come and have a great time with a fabulous teacher learning a beginner friendly technique.

Quilt Kits

Sew  Always has a wide variety of quilt kits including a collection of the Shannon Cuddles Kits, a strip quilt featuring Moda's Just Another Walk in the Woods, and a Quilt featuring the Sing your Song panel from Windham fabrics.  Check out https://sewalways.com/kits for more details.

Sew Always has a certified machine technician who will clean, service and oil any  of your sewing machines or sergers

The mission of the Quilts of Valor Foundation is to cover service members and veterans touched by war with comforting and healing.  Since QOV has started over 190,000 quilts have been presented to veterans. 

You can be a part of that too.  Volunteer your time every 4th Wednesday of the month at Sew Always between 1 pm and 5 pm .  Bring your sewing machine and supplies and help us fulfill a much needed duty.
